This list is suggested and not complete, but a good start.

Some items the troop has available for scouts who need them.


Alll scouts should pack their own bags and carry their own things. Items should be appropriate for the time of year and location we will be staying. Don't buy expensive equipment right away.


To Wear:

  • Class A Uniform, wore to and from all trips
  • Coat or jacket


Hiking Trips and most camping trips:

  • Small backpack
  • Water bottle
  • Compass
  • Wrist watch
  • Snack


For Overnight Trips:

  • Sleeping bag
  • Fleece insert/ blanket for for sleeping bag
  • Pillow
  • Tarp, ground cloth
  • Sleeping pad or self-inflating air mattress
